What's The Best Team In The Championship?

A commentator on five live said Leicester are the best team in the championship.

I'm a bit biased, but it seems like a fair and relevant question to ask considering the recent acquisitions Leicester have, and the fact that we want to stay ahead of them.

You can put the points difference out of your head because things have changed.It could be that if we don't strengthen they could close the gap as they are looking dangerous.

Maybe best team on paper. But not for tesm work! Also doesnt matter how well they play its what we do that matters! Besides they need to win 4 more games than us to overtake us. Cant see it happening

Watched both Leicester and Boro closely last night and id take David Nugent and George Friend left back for Boro thats it.

The french kid is a good player but a gutsy little b*stard who plays for himself before the team. Give me Kim or Tommy Smiths team ethic any day.

Whitts or Drinkwater? Marshall or Schmeical? Hudson or Wes Morgan? We have the better players.

We have team spirit along with great players in the team.

Also even when we play s**t we hold on for all the points. Most teams concede late on.

We have been consistent and we beat Leicester at their ground because the best team takes their chance.

I'd take Wes Morgan for sure. I like the look of Haroun for Boro as well.

Jus thinking now that if Leicester had beaten us we'd only be 4 clear of them. What a huge win that was

I would say we have a better team as things stand but that doesn't mean we couldn't do with some extra signings.

Malky said himself that a few injury problems and this league can swallow you up. Leicester have a big squad and its certainly prudent not to take anything for granted in keeping them at arms length.

We have the advantage so we need to be ruthless now and hold onto it, and if we win the league by a cricket score then that's a bonus! We cannot afford to underestimate our opposition and if we do it could bite us on the arse!

I trust Malky to take us to the promised land and im sure he has got a few tricks up his sleeve yet, and the resources to keep us top till the end of the season.

I honestly feel Leicester are going to be our only real threat and you know what that means!

To be fair Reading won the league last year and I don't think anyone would say their squad was any better than Southampton or West Ham's

Although it's churlish to say the team top by ten points in January isn't the best.

us for sure, there are a few players i would take from leicester though, Drinkwater and wood among them.

Nugent had a very good game friday too

Seems like we thrive on pressure this season. Every time a team from the chasing pack gain a few points on us i.e Leicester friday, BAMM!!! We hit back straight away, and open the gap back up. And when the teams behind us drop points, we seem to take full advantage and open the gap up even further. Must be very disheartening for the chasing pack. Teams have done similar to us in resent seasons, never giving us the opportunity to close the gap, eventually leading to us falling away... We are most defiantly the ones dictating the league this year.

We're top and they done us at home easy and even let Gestede score goal because they felt sorry for him.

That is a fact so I think its quite obvious the Posh are best team in division.

It'd be laughable to suggest it's anyone but Cardiff, Leicester on their day are probably a more attractive side to watch than you as they're capable of scoring 5/6 goals in a game but they are nowhere near as consistent as you and that's why your ten points above them in the league and have beaten them away from home.

We are obviously th best in this division. Having said that a lot is down to malky. If we both went up i would struggle to see cardiff finishing above leicester with the current squads
