6 wins and 6 draws would give us 84, which on current form for everyone else would be enough.

I think 85 points will be enough however we get them

8/9 games will get us top 2 hopefully

You could well be right. I hope you are....but Leicester and Hull are capable of reaching that total so let's get the extra win just to make sure. All the facts are pointing towards us being in the prem next season but I won't let myself believe it until we are certain.

Would have got us 2nd place over the last 10 seasons (1pt above 3rd place). An average of 82pts.

I still think 85 pts would get us promoted but we still need to keep aiming for that 2pts / game which will certainly take us up.
Of course we are 4 pts in front of that target currently and the chasing pack are 6 pts behind that target but things can change quickly .

Last season 87 points would have got you third place.

But at this point least season Reading who were champions were 8 points off top place. Think about that, the team that went on that phenomenal run last season were closer to top than second place currently is to us.

At this point Newcastle had 5 points less and an 8 point gap between third.

It's still one game at a time for me. But it's getting so close now it's unreal.
