The same grey or dark blue suits he always wears does make me wonder does he own anything else to wear with all his cash

Used to like him. But your right he irritates me. Not in Neville's league as a pundit. :malky:

Thought Nevill was talking nonsense after the game mind.

Saying Dempey should gone down instead of shooting from 8 yards.

Sounded very bitter to me today Neville.

I also think he was being a bit harsh on de gea, if the Man utd defence was up to scratch he wouldn't have had anywhere near as much pressure on him as he did.

Wouldn't mind his wife though

First time I seen him let his United Fan guard down today.

He was fuming at the late equaliser and it showed.

Again agree.

Maybe it's just me but very time he is on spurs it feels like he is having a dig at bale.

I actually thought Neville was spot on after the game. I thought De Gea's punch wasn't strong enough, I would have been fuming if Marshall did a flimsy punch like that to cost us a goal. It was perhaps a little unprofessional to say about Dempsey going down, but a penalty and extra man would have given Spurs a much bigger chance of winning the game. Fair play to Neville having the balls to say it, but I feel he may get into a little bit of trouble for encouraging players to go down.

No, its not just you. He is very annoying. Always go to make a cup of tea when he is on. Total airhead.

Yet he bangs on about Suarez diving. Total hypocrite.

Apart for a great save he had better chance if scoring than a pen plus no guarantee ref would give it.

It was an idiotic comment imo.

Personally, I think he usually talks a load of sense, but he isn't half rude to any other pundit in the studio, as he always feels it necessary to interrupt, when anybody else is talking!

Now that certainly irritates me! :)

Depends on how you view your missus mate.

I take your point on Suarez, but I think the difference today was Evra stuck his leg across him. After watching it again, it didn't appear there was any contact mind, so I agree it was silly of Neville to say it. I still think players have every right to go down easy if they are getting impeded mind as no matter how much they get tripped or have their shirts pulled, they don't usually get a decision if they are too honest and keep their feet, although this has been changing lately and I think it will be good for the game if refs continue giving penalties for shirt pulls and trips even if the player getting impeded doesn't go down.

Agree to a certain extent about going down to have to highlight the foul but not in centre of goals, 8 yards out and the touch didnt even break his stride.

Only time I can remember Neville playing the Man united fan was last season when he was commentating on the Arsenal - Citeh game. Mario Balloteli was sent off and he was smug as a bug about it, really rubbing it in to all the City fans watching. Other than that he's a top pundit.

As for Jamie, couldn't give a care, he's not the best but not the worst. Souness is one of my favourites, he does not mix his words.

Why was neville wrong?

It was a clear foul by evra on dempsey in the box.

If dempsey went down the ref would've had no option but to award spurs a pen and send evra off. No blame could be attached to dempsey as he was clearly fouled.

Neville, speaking as an ex pro, was spot on.

I'm not saying it wouldn't have been a pen and a red card but I'd rather a player tried to score than go down when they don't need to.
