3 Most consistant players

Mon Jan 21, 2013 11:13 am

Who do you guys think has been the top 3 players who have been the most consistant so far this season?

My top 3 would be:

Hudson- He was been our best player imo, A great leader and has just been a rock at the back

Marshall- Is having his best season so far, kept us in alot of games with his great shot stopping and he has improved with dealing with crosses and corners which has been his biggest weakness in recent years

Bellamy- This is a man who is on a mission to get us to the premier league. His attitude, workrate is excellent and if he didn't feature much over the christmas period I doubt we would be where we are now.

If these three players remain fit for the run in I think we will go up as champions :ayatollah:

whitts has gone of the boil for a few games now, which is why I didn't include him
I agree conway was a strong candidate as were noone and connelly. I just think the the 3 i mentioned have had the biggest impct on our season so far I think they will have a big say in the run in aswell :malky:

Hudson is up there and I'm dead sure he will win POTY. He has been a rock, leader.. he scored vital goals. The team respect him and against Peterboro if he was there then maybe there would have been some leadership to keep it at 1-0 and try keep things tight. He has made stopped goal scoring chances with some great last ditch tackles.

Marshall might challenge Hudson. Marshall has the most clean sheets I believe? I think Leicester might have more due to Friday. Marshall has been vital in games such as Leicester away, Middlesbrough home, Peterboro (Could have been worse than 2-1) Marshall has improved each year and he proved under MM why he should be number 1. Joe Lewis must be scratching his head how good Marshall is.

Bellamy has been a real workhorse. He has run every bit of grass in the games he plays and he don't stop working and the amount games he plays is unreal due to the fact he has problems with knee, etc. He scored a few goals and has been fantastic.

Connolly and Gunnarsson have been fantastic aswell.

Hudson, Marshall and Bellamy for me too, although pre-christmas I would have put Helguson in there instead of Bellamy.

I'm a massive fan of Helguson and love strikers who work hard.

I don't think hes been fully consistent but him, Gunnarsson and Connolly have been fantastic. :malky:
