Hope you can move Simon. I don't think you will recognise the fan base if you came back.

Giving up city, is giving up a bit of freedom, its giving up an experience, and its like giving up on your family.
Match day is more than just supporting your team, its a reoccurring life event that is not be taken away from me under the above terms.

I have instead put all my time and money into setting up my business and buying my first house... so for me, other priorities have taken over.
Part of me wishes I was on the bandwagon, but I'm still disillusioned with the whole thing. I don't bother entering the constant debates because as far as I can see, whats the point?
So in the mean time, I'll just carry on going about my business and spend my hard earned money on something which will provide a bit of structure and stability (hopefully!!) for myself.
Once all the hype has died down and the new (plastic) fans fade away as results dont go our way (which is inevitable), fans who share similar sentiments on the subject as I do may mellow and look at a return but until then... enjoy

Get a group together dicey you can lead it im sure many will go along with it including me as long as it does not involve burning malaysians flags and tossing smoke bombs on the pitch during game time or doing whatever action we feel necessary during game time. Thats what the last load of dribble involved that died before it started.

ok, maybe not the correct term... but the point im trying to make is there will be an almost certain influx of glory hunters who follow premiership and not a team. Our home end will have opposing fans in there... just like last years cup final.

Playing in Red in the premier league for the same price????
Almost everyone will take that 99% with most of the 1% natural wastage such as death, losing jobs, moving away, too skint etc
