Derry signed a one year deal yesterday. They may be out of contract but a lot of those are high earners.

The one that stuck out for me is Frazer Richardson. We are after a full back and I always rated him...plus he has a bit of premiership experience now.

Puncheon is another who would be acheivable if this new Southampton manager doesn't fancy him. He has had a decent season so fat to!

I think it's way too early to think of this as there's players like Chris Brunt on that list and he's currently West Brom's captain, so I would be very surprised if they don't renew his contract and if he decides he wants to move on, he will want ridiculous wages at a new club anyway.

I would much rather us follow Swansea's example in signing unknown players from abroad who are better than British players, but a lot cheaper. Granted, a lot of time and money will have to be spent on scouting abroad, but think of the money Swansea have saved getting Michu for 2 million. Newcastle have signed Cabaye and Debuchy recently who are both regular French internationals and they have paid peanuts for them in comparison to British players. Moussa Sissoko will be the next French player to join the Premiership, it looks like Newcastle will be getting him for around 8 million and I bet he will move on to a big Premiership club for 20 plus million a few seasons into the future.

I'd take Carlton Cole for the right financial package, someone who Maynard or Campbell can play off if Malky sticks with his 4-4-2.

I'd take Cole too but he would probably want a minimum of 30k a week which is not worth it imo.
