Here's a video of him scoring a hat-trick

Looks very good in that video. Not only were they good finishes but in the other clips you can see he plays a simple game and has good vision and pass. Obviously a raw talent but looks like he has potential.

Is your opinion based on the video in this thread or have you seen him play live/elsewhere?
In the clip in this thread he looks very promising. Scores a hat trick and I'd involved in most of their goals and attacks. Good movement and eye for a pass. He's obviously not the finished article but looks promising based on this clip. He's goals to game ratio is also impressive and his previous manager had high praise of healey.

What a ridiculous post. How does he look rubbish? He scored an hatrick and had good vision?

How can he possibly flop?
Even if he doesn't make it he wouldn't be a flop.

Out of interest who have you watched him play against and can you suggest a few players Malky might send his scouts up to watch in the Welsh league?

All we're asking for you to do is justify your opinion.
Saying he's rubbish and you think he'll flop with nothing to base that on is ludicrous.
You could be right, he might not make the step up but even if he doesn't I can;t see how it;'d be a flop.

I agree and not saying your opinion is wrong, just curious to know who you watched him against, why you think he's rubbish and the players in the Welsh league you think are better than him?

A gamble for the future nothing more nothing less
He will be like kaddem harris was , put in the under 18s and development squads to see if he is good enough .
If he is we will see him in 2/3 years if he aint he will f**k off to newport or something , we can only win imo if we keep picking up these youngsters for pennies eventually we will unearth a star . Hopefully healey is that star weve been looking for and spending money on our youth setup for ! Good luck to him i say
By the way his record for a kid is pretty impressive
17 games (12 as sub) 21 goals
12 in 12 in low

Cardiff City sign Connah's Quay Nomads striker Rhys Healey
Cardiff City have signed teenage striker Rhys Healey from Welsh Premiership side Gap Connah's Quay.
The 18-year-old joins the Championship leaders on a two-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Healey has scored sixteen goals for the Nomads during this campaign and has signed with the Bluebirds until the summer of 2015.
"We think Rhys is one with huge potential." said Malky Mackay, the Cardiff City Manager.
"We brought Rhys in after having looked at the division to see what the best young talent is there - and we think Rhys is one with huge potential. "
"He'll be training with our Development Squad and Under 18s to start with. We'll try and bleed him in gently towards the senior setup and see how he develops, but he's certainly one with great potential for the future."
A Nomads statement wished Healey well and praised Cardiff for the "brilliant way they have worked with us, generous, patient and always courteous".
