SURELY TUESDAY NIGHT AGAINST LEICESTER

Sun Mar 28, 2010 10:30 am

We should get over 22,000, we are 4th in the league ?

When we get to the play off Semi-Finals, Are so called Fan Base will be begging for tickets, this really winds me up.

Do we have an up to date figure for home and away fans?

Totally agree Annis.....WHEN we get to the play off's there will be the usual suspects crawling out of the woodwork claiming they have been to 20+ games and love the City when in reality they have been once "to see the new ground", but what can you do? Maybe for the play off's (we will get there!) outside of the Ambos and ST holders you should have a qualifying amount of games i.e. 20+ first shout for 2 days, 15+ next two days etc.
Does my head in that people who wont sing, dont go regularly and aren't true supporters end up with big game tickets. Maybe the club could start an end of season club where anyone who goes to all remaining home games gets second shout after the Ambos and ST holders?

Wayne at the moment under 20,000, but lets hope tomorrow everyone starts getting excited.

I agree the Club should virtually con/force them in to more games, not just turn up for the big ones, winds me right up.

What they should do IMO is publicise something along the lines of - "In the event of CCFC making the play off's this season the allocation of tickets will be distributed to Ambo's, ST holders for the first 3 days (or however many) then the tickets will be allocated to anyone who has stubs for 15+ games or has been to the final 4 games of the season. I think you'd be guaranteed 23k + at all remaining home games which would makefor a better atmosphere and push the side towards the play off's, win win situation! Then again when the hell have CCFC ever marketed themselves properly??

I agree, but until they get rid off all the idiots in charge at Our club, it will sadly Fall on Deaf ears. I have spoken in the past many times to them about promoting other games.

Thats a shame.

I'm sure we were expecting 23000 when it was first due to be played just before Xmas.

I'd love to be at both the Leicester and Jacks games but with the Mrs being heavily pregnant and having been in hospital last week i cant risk going to the games.

What really got me was the FA Cup semi and final.

I only managed to get 2 tickets for the final as i didnt post my ticket application in time and it was a real scramble to get them which meant my youngest son missed out-he was only 4 but i felt like the biggest tw*t in the world telling him he wasnt coming to Wemley with me and his brother. Yet at that final were people who have not been since.

dont seem to be many parts of the ground sold out

I saw someone say that the club should advertise tickets more. But where? They owe the Echo advertising money, so that's out and it would probably have been the most obvious way of publicising the games and any offers that would go along with attending them.

How about the fans who live 400 miles away but yet still get to 10+ games per season?
