We have proved to date that we have a good squad. We just needed to add a bit extra.
Cambell and Lapin are more than adequate, plenty of experience with very little cash spent.

But if the club has the war chest to go get a Brayford or Bent, why not do it?

Why spend more than the going rate when you dont need to? The Club just cant win can it?
Fans moan that the debt is too big - then moan when the manager is loathe to waste money
when he doesnt need to.

To me, and I may not really understand the finances, but promotin is the aim, and promotion is what can help with the debt more than anything. Why would you want to leave any reasonable doubt? If it is true that clubs that strengthen in January win (and I know Campbell is quality), why not go do it and erase the doubt. The club has never been this close. I am not moaning just curious.

Curious? Well how many strikers does Malky need to sign? If we sign two right now what
message does that send out to the fellers who have got us ten points clear at the top?
How many defenders do we need right now? Watching Leicester tonight and apart from
Morgan, none of them over-impressed me.
There will ALWAYS be 'reasonable doubt'... if we went out and spent £15m on three players
can anyone say hand on heart that it wouldnt upset the 'group' ethic that the manager has
worked so hard to cultivate? I'm serious. What if it took three or four games for the newer
more expensive players to bed in? Look at Leicester last season under Sven, all that money,
all those players... they fucked up!!
If its not broke - dont fix it. Thats a pretty sensible saying.
