January Transers Review

Do you think we has a successful January, or not?

We've brought in three players, 2 of whom will go straight into the first team squad, one an experienced premiership striker, a back up defender/midfielder with premiership experience and a young striker with potential to blossom. When going into January If someone had told us we were bringing in these 3 players in surely we would have bitten their hand off? And if they had said we'll only spend 650k in doing so, well our chins would have hit the floor!

I do think though, did malky really have this 'warchest' which had been mentioned? Was this true or was Malky pleased to get the players he had set out to get or did he miss out on main targets because of the overpriced market? Either way i'm happy with every player we've brought in and glad malky didn't pay out on overpriced players(brayford).

One player I wished we had signed though is Chris Wood. He's already shown his quality in this league and has something like 6 goals in 5 appearances for Leicester. He really could be the difference between 1st and 2nd for us. I do think though we've made some decent acquisitions, enough to take us over line but the question is, will we be champions or runners up?

We only needed Campbell really and a utility defender. We got them so great January. We had the strength and depth already and now players like Kim are becoming a real force and coming into their own. Smith coming back is like a new signing as well.

Some people just were bringing up issues that simply weren't there. We also have great youth players on the fringes like Nugent and John who can step in if needed. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
