CAMPBELL - AND INSTINCTIVE STRIKERS!!

The lad had been on all of a minute, was probably blowing out his arse after 30 seconds
and was nowhere near the pace of the game. Yet immediately found himself between the
penalty spot and six-yard box. To me thats instinct. Campbell hasnt kicked a ball in anger
for months. He doesnt know his team-mates.. but there he was, 1-0!!!

I dont think he's the "missing link" - City had that covered when we bought Maynard, but
were very unlucky with his injury. What Campbell brings to the table is an instinct and if
I'm being really honest, I'm not quite sure Joe Mason has it.

If Frazier Campbell can get another nine goals this season we will go up as champions
of that I have no doubt

I was saying the same, with top strikers its a pure instinct being in the right place at exactly the right time, not bad for his 2nd touch that, was it

People saying "it was luck, it was a tap in". You still have to be in the right place to get on the end of a tap in. Can't wait to see more of this lad.

Our frazier campbell will be the equivelent of last seasons readings jason roberts...Very shrewd buy malky!

I do think Joe Mason has it, probably the most instinctive striker we had prior to Campbell. Joe's problem is his lack of physical attributes- He is not fast or strong.

Strangely if we are in the premier league it may do Joe some good because we could loan him and rudy out to a league 1 teams to harden up.

I do think Joe will be a premier league player in about 4 or 5 years.


Campbell is class, still can't believe we got him for so little.

I was very impressed with campbell yesterday. He was stronger than i remember him (despite blowing outof his arse). He's quicker than any striker we have (along with maynard) and he seemed to have good awareness about him.
I wasn't sure if he could play with his back to goal but every time he was called upon to hold the ball up yesterday he held it up and used the ball well.
The goal will do him a world of good and help him settle.
I'm loving the spirit of the players this season i hope we blow the league away now and start smashing everyone.
