I'm a season ticket holder but have a mate who isn't. Due to work and family commitments he can't attend every week. He regularly travels away. He is in a flap now re next season and if we get promoted how he may struggle for obvious reasons to get a ticket both home and away! Any suggestions?!?

Few suggestions:
1. Buy a season ticket (10 months interest free) even though it won't be used much. Perhaps sell it to a person you know on a match by match basis when not in use.
2. Go in the premier club (only place where there would be any match day tickets available next season in my opinion.
3. For away games, sit in the home end.

I've suggested am Away Travel Membership and also a Stadium Card membership. Whether or not that will help him I don't know!

There is there is no way holders of away membership will get tickets to the big away games. All the tickets will be snapped up by season ticket holders.
Not a problem though if he just wants to go to Wigan, Sunderland, Norwich etc.

If we go up I expect match day tickets to increase by quote a bit.
It wouldn't surprise me if season ticket would be cheaper even if he don't attend half the games.

If we go up my ST works out at £19 a game (379/19 for the canton). Match day tickets will be at a guess around £35 (just going by what the jacks charge). I can't use my ST for every game as I live overseas but there are always plenty of people that are willing to take it. i think you could even release your seat back to the club if you know it will not be used.

I think some jack said they charge £45 for the top games and we obviously have a much bigger fan base so ticket may be hard to come by.
