Improving the atmosphere

Sun Feb 03, 2013 7:18 pm

A lot of threads on here are on about improving the atmosphere, so here's a few ideas, some have been already covered.

We need to pick a game where a big crowd is expected, (Is Bristol City too late to make a difference on the atmosphere)

Bring flags, scarves, whether they're red and black or blue. Wave them when we score like some clubs do, hold them up before the team comes out.

Slow the tempo on songs, a lot of the time we have chants that fade away too quickly, we need to slow the tempo down on chants i.e. we'll start singing 'You'll never Notice' then after one chant of it it fades away.

More individual player chants, all we sing at home is 'Scotland's number one', 'nananananana gunnarsson' and 'Peter Whittingham, he does what he wants" I think more individual chants will go a long way and improve the morale of players and make them even more determined

More intimidating walk out song

Any other ideas? :ayatollah:

The idea of the scarf's is one I have always liked.

Now we have another individual player chant with the Fraizer Campbell chant.

I think something fast paced like Swedish House Mafia - Greyhound would be good.

Also I hate it when we only do one chant of a song, I feel like a knob singing the rest on my own then.
Can't see anything to do with scarves taking off, our fans never bring scarves.
