Off Topic: Televisions

I want to buy a new tv.

I'm looking for great quality for a decent price. Preferably 32". Would like it to be a "smart" TV. Not essential though.


Anybody recommend any stores or websites?

Something around the £350 mark.

I bought a SONY KDL32CX520BU 32 INCH FULL HD 1080P FREEVIEW LCD TV in the summer for £250 and it's been great. It's a smart tv but I haven't used it because it doesn't work with the uni internet so can't say how good that is.

I just ordered an LG 3D WiFi TV. I'm assuming you can do it on that too. I hope so anyway.

Samsung always top the reviews for Smart TV's and John Lewis are always competetive, especially when you factor in the fact that they offer a 5 year guarantee/warranty when other shops only offer 1-3 years.

I bought a Samsung 32 inch just before Christmas. It's excellent and the online stuff and apps are also excellent. You will need to buy a Samsung dongle separately though to get the online access, but if you're a techy, apparently you can sort access via an XBox of PS3 without the dongle.
