Malky & VT

Mon Feb 04, 2013 9:17 am

If we get to the Premier League and we have 3 or 4 bad results do you think VT will sack Malky? Nigel Adkins was doing just fine at Southampton and out of nowhere got sacked. If we are going to be successful in the PL we need to stick with Malky and his backroom staff.

What are your thoughts on this?

Doesn't seem likely, VT seems to have a better relationship with MM than he did its DJ and they agree with how to take the club forward.

Is more our fans who would be calling for Malky to go with a few bad results.

Get the impression that VT likes Malky. Remember MM did not go out and spend the money he was allegedly offered just because it was available. He only got what he needed and as cheap as possible. VT will like a business head in charge of his team. :malky: :malky:

I hope hes given time. Really depends on who they think they can bring in after him i suppose. But i think we will do what the baggies have done and yo yo between the prem and championship for a few years.

All the evidence is that Tan trusts Malky Mackay. Tan has not given any indication
since he's been here that he rushes into anything

I think exactly the same in terms of MM not spending what was available to him, on the other hand VT has changed the club to red regardless of fans opinion on it to gain success. For me, when Adkins got sacked got me instantly thinking that VT would unfortunately do the same to MM.

I think the biggest difference is that VT was the owner when MM was appointed.
VT obviously trusts him otherwise he would have replaced him in the summer before giving a manager such a war chest to use.

Its not something to worry about. each decision goes on its merits.
After a few bad results some of our own fans will want MM out in whatever league

It is crazy to think if that happened we would still be a minimum of 4 points ahead :o
