So, it effectively means that Swansea Town played amongst the cabbages...
Must have had an effect, as Huw Jenkins is looking to expand their new stadium to accommodate another 9,000 of those said cabbages!!
Also noted the sign at the back of the stand saying: "Swansea - Wales' Waterfront Town"
Doesn't give too much away but I hear they have considered changing their name to Swampsea

i think you need to go back and research again and apart from the fact we haven't played there for years who gives a shit ,
at least it's a change from attendances , have you seen the prem table up to 7th fellas so the origin of our old grounds name is really of no importance keep trying though you may have something one day to wind us up about

hi Waddle - do you think we'll finally get up this year, and if we do, will all your fans be looking forward to renewing the South Wales derby? - the first time it will have ever happened in the first tier, if it happened!
I'm not counting any chickens yet, but we are obviously in a good position, and just wondering about your stance on this possibly happening?

FFS, it was an interesting (to some) piece of trivia that was posted. The 'cabbages' thing was a natural 'banter' JOKE that followed
The FACT about Ninian Park's origin was well known to me, as I was born a stone's throw from the ground and (as previously stated) have a keen interest in history and trivia of all types
So NOTHING odd about it
Can't say the same of anyone who can't take a joke though and it's not as if any of them would do the same, eh?
Last 'post' on THIS matter
FFS!!
