We controlled the game from start to finish

Huddersfield only threatened on the break and I thought we controlled the whole game. Yes, we didn't score, but it was just one of those games where we couldn't score. Another day, we would have got our noses in front, then it would have opened up and we would have scored a few I think. We dominated possession and spent a large portion of the game in the Huddersfield half.

The injuries to McNaughton and in particular Kim-Bo didn't help as we had to make two changes at half time, I would like to think if we didn't have to make those changes, Malky would have thrown Noone on to try and unlock them. Kim-Bo had an excellent first half and when Helguson came on at half time to replace him, we went longer and lost our control of the game towards the start of the second half, although we soon started to settle down again and dominate.

Lots of people are saying we wasn't at our best, but I thought we controlled the game and it was another very good performance and a clean sheet. The pitch didn't help us, numerous times the ball bobbled up when we got into a good position and I'm wondering if Huddersfield deliberately left the pitch like that to even the game up.

All in all I was very pleased with the performance, Nugent stepped in and looked very comfortable again contributing to another clean sheet and another point to put us 11 clear of Leicester is a good result. If we keep up this form, I see nobody stopping us.
