The scarf pile

Wed Feb 13, 2013 11:09 pm

We were talking about this red scarf thing at the pub tonight and one of the boys came up with the idea of accepting the scarfs and making a huge pile in the bar area of the ground by 110 on the corner as a answer to the bribe/gift to show we accept red but as a team but will always be blue inside !
Pretty good idea I'd love to see how big the pile would be

Now this I like, but can we set a location where everyone can access the pile. Perhaps after the game we could all start dumping them at the entrance to the superstore, get it big enough to block on of the entrances.

This is what i think might happen ... remember the Reading 2nd leg play-off game, when fans were given those paper things to "make some noise" :o

Pitch would do for me but 1 huge pile would be amazing to see , and would not distract the players during the game

Outside the club shop sounds perfect to me ;)

I see I said "on of the entrances" I meant ONE of the entrances. The shop has two sliding doors, so the other would be available. I would not suggest anything that would cause a hazard.

I also would not chuck them towards the pitch, let's not have it affect the players or give the Brighton fans something to gain a hold on us for 90 minutes.

Opposite the doors of the club shop , in full view of the management as they leave , no safety hazard and accessible to everyone , won't distract the players or the game , perfect mine will be on there first as I leave the ground :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Why didn't the club think of that instead of using them to beat us with. :D

What ever anyone has planned for their scarfs, can we please leave it until after the game!
The last thing the team wants is a bad atmosphere to come out to.
Why is it that you just don't take one if you don't want one....
I understand everyone's feelings on this matter, but it is done with.
He will do what he wants and all I and my son want to do is support our local Cardiff City with no bad atmosphere and to cheer on the boys!
This season is getting very exciting! Still not there yet and a bad atmosphere may rub off on the players and that's the last thing we need.
If you want to stay blue, stay blue! But come on, we all support Cardiff City FC no matter the colour we want them to be in.
Lets get behind them instead of trying to get in Tans face.

Yep exactly that's why we said the club shop on the way out of the ground not the pitch
