Forgive me for thinking that an innocent woman has just been killed - not really something that should be joked about.

Bet he's absolutely distraught, what a waste of a valentines card.

Seriously though I do feel sorry for him, it's one thing losing someone close to you but to be the one who did it (accidentally of course) is another thing altogether. His life will never be the same.

fecking hell!

are you going to support the rights for horses as well soon after the horse burger fiasco.

or maybe, you are going to remove all joke books from shops? protest against comedians performing infront of thousands of people.

What about your mobile phone when people send you millions of jokes, do you reply back "f**k of you insensitive tw*t"?
or do you not have a mobile phone and friends.

You are a very sensitive man, who is always on the look out for an argument, or to stir shit.
Go crawl back under the rock you emerged from.

Bit over the top, chill out. He's expressing an opinion (one that, let's face it, is probably the better side of this argument).

There's a slight difference between horse meat & the tragic death of an innocent woman.

She's barely been dead for a few hours & people are already joking about it? I just find that disrespectful. Especially when it's in such tragic circumstances..

Does that give you the right to suggest I need to "get a life" or "crawl back under the rock I emerged from"?

Totally unecessary..

ha ha Chuckle just reported me, and I never even started the thread.

Well if I'm banned from being a moderator from an idiot like you reporting me, I'm going to buy a red scarf, eat a horse burger, text rude and abusive jokes to all my friends, (as usual) and go and visit a comedian on stage that rips the piss out of all lifes current situations.

Maybe, then I'll come back as an anonymous poster and be a very sensible man! ? :D

Tragic story, can't imagine what he must be feeling. Strange circumstances surrounding the story and I wonder what will happen to him.

Where have I said "no jokes" - you're completely over reacting!

All I said was that I find joking about a woman who has been killed only a few hours ago a bit disrespectful..

Jeez.

Got to say, morality is on Barry Chuckles side here.

I'm a firm believer that you can joke about anything as long as it's in the right environment. Obviously you wouldn't tell that joke to his mum but on a football forum it's fine. People get offended too easily

I thought he would've prefered a knife in his hand, considering he is a BLADE runner

Morally I know its wrong but, hey there were steve irwin jokes, Jacko jokes etc

Re: Oscar Pistorius

Good jokes

Some people to lighten up. If it effected you personally, then I'd understand - but it hasn't!

Unfortunately this is the way society is these days, not condoning it, or against the humour, but all I can say is bye bye Merlin(Craig) and welcome to Chuckles the new moderator, the king is dead, long live the king.

History of domestic abuse in his home, the 'mistaken identity' rumour was started by the media, SA police opposing bail and pursuing murder charge.

He's in deep trouble.

Re: Oscar Pistorius

Thu Feb 14, 2013 11:31 am

I'd say the biggest joke of all, is him shooting her 4times and then saying it was an accident!I may be wrong, but I really can't see that excuse holding up in court.

Re: Oscar Pistorius

Merlin, an innocent women has died about a couple of hours ago. It's just not right to make a joke at the expense of it just yet. If that is your kind of humour then fine but do be surprised if someone is shocked by it and might question you. It is a tragic story so some people might also be disgusted at the jokes, just like the guy who made fun of Fabrice Muamba when he had that heart attack and many mocking Gary Speed when he died.
