the potential of:
more red stadia lighting, red shirts at home, free red scarves, possibly red seats? more foreign investors, publicity in asia, the new breed fan, plastics turning into cardiff fans next season, new promotions pushing the red issue, new club badge (again!)
VT and his money rescued the club, he will do it his way.
It's hard to argue against, when the club has been in its most stable position in the league, and off the pitch for quite some time, with a fantastic squad, and financial backing.
With all that is going on pushed by a very very wealthy man with a dream (a red one at that!) no fan protest, is going to get in his way.
No amount of moaning about the rebrand is going to change anything, so surely for any fan who is clearly and truly dead against the rebrand, is time to put up or shut up? thats not me getting arsey? My question is after months and months of moaning about the rebrand, why is anyone dead against it still turning up, still posting on message boards, and still associating themselves with this club?
If you aren't happy then maybe its time to pull down the curtains on your loyal support and take the action you keep promising to do?
Controversial post? maybe..... just asking/wondering why those that aren't happy, haven't yet disappeared into the background? I know a few people who have completely detached themselves from the club, thats their choice, they promised what they'd do if the rebrand went through, and they did it. They put their money where their mouth was, so to speak.

IMO the club should just let rip on all they intend to do and not do things a bit at a time, just like ripping a plaster off....do it quick and tell us all their plans so people can decide where they stand.

Exactly Merlin nothing is going to change the colour of the shirt and we are moving on as a club way beyond anything i have seen in 40 years of supporting the City
Whether we wear blue red or pink we have new supporters and will continue to do so, thats what success brings. And yes a lot of us have been at Ninian Park with 3000 people on a wet tuesday and its not the future whether we like it or not the Premiership is about money and when we get GBP90million we are going to have players in the team who would never have come to Wales 2 years ago, thats what success will bring and everything is going to change
I have lived in Asia for 17 years and the 3 club shirts you see by far the most of are Man U, L'pool and Arsenal. Red is deemed a lucky colour in Asia so i cant blame VT for wanting to change to something he sees as bringing good luck to teh team and you cant deny this season we have been a step above anything previously
Would I like to see City playing in the Premiership in blue? of course but its not going to happen so we need to move on, no one forces you to wear a red shirt or take teh scarf, no one stops us singing Blue Army etc
We just need to show support for the players and get to the Premiership as this debate is really unhealthy for both sides

IMO - tan wants a premier league club, and for as long as he has one, he's laughing, from next season the premier league is like owning a gold mine for a number of reasons, so I think it is fair to say, once we get promoted (can't see us f*cking up now) his red vision is only going to become more prominent. So to me, fans can see which direction this is all going.
I don't think we are going to see blue for a long time, although I may be wrong? But come on, lets wake up and smell the coffee....
For me it's a simple choice, I'm on the bandwagon as I support Cardiff city for as long as they are exactly that and playing in the city I live in and adore. This is my choice. But it seems some fans are stuck in the middle, they don't know what to do, or how they feel anymore?
I know that if I wasn't happy with something, then I'd have to change how a face that issue.
I'm on the page that's headed: "fans that have accepted the rebrand, although aren't happy we've taken blue away, but have no choice but to go along with what a wealthy man has thought right to do to get this club back on the road to stability"

This. The club hasn't got the bollocks though.

That's what I'd prefer.
But as already said, they wouldn't have it in them to do it that way.

Quite an insulting post to the people of Cardiff who have watched and followed their local club for many years, through good times and bad.
Hypothetically if Tan decided to up the prices to £100 to watch Man Utd next season would you maintain fans should put up with the change or walk away from the club?
