anbody watch Zenit v Liverpool?

That 15million for joe allen seems to look worse everytime i see him play. he cant fight for the ball and gave the ball away so often its unreal. swansea must be laughing their balls off.

Yeah to be fair he was probably GB's standout player at the Olympics, and that really made me think that he might end up doing well at Liverpool too.

Turns out not. He was absolutely awful today, as were most of the Liverpool team.

Never mind £15m for Joe Allen, £20m for Jordan Henderson is beyond a joke. I wouldn't want him at Cardiff...

im not laughing, i genuinely didnt want him to become another daft liverpool signing.

i still think he can come good however. clearly his confidence has taken a knock, hes out of his comfort zone position wise aswell, and the price tag surely put too much pressure on the lad.

People knock henderson, and I know the price tag is hefty and he hasn't set the world alight, BUT I think he'll turn out to be a decent buy givent time. Think he'll grow on people like a carrick type. Don't think he's a bad player myself. Seems I'm on my own with that one though!

I agree. Henderson is a decent player and at Sunderland was doing well but now he's playing with some players who just dont seem to have a clue. He should have stayed at Sunderland and waited for a better move but can't really blame him for wanting to play under Kenny Dalglish.

I think liverpool will be his kind of level. Can't see him getting a better move than that, but as I said, I think he'll turn into a decent buy.

With all that racism stuff with Zenit? Did Johnson or Wisdom play? I am not being racist just wondering as it would be a tough atmo for the lads.
