I'll give it to a homeless person.
Thu Feb 14, 2013 8:15 pm
I'll either throw it on the pitch or burn it.

Why would you burn it? It still as cardiff city fc on it, not VINCENT TAN WE PLAY IN RED FC!! No one's forcing you to take it, just don't accept it off the stewards or who ever! At the end of the day you will be there supporting the team.

I'd throw it on the pitch...

I was joking, but I'll definitely be bringing my blue scarf

It'd be a pretty awesome sight seeing 23k red scarves getting chucked onto the pitch. But the guts has been ripped out of this club.

The gesture is brilliant but all RED, as much as I have slightly got used to them playing in RED it still don`t feel right,
Watching Celtic on Tuesday with 60,000 Green scarves before the game looked f*cking amazing
would be great if we did that, 23,000 Maybe bring your blue scarf with you have a good mix of
Blue and Red

If people do not want a scarf - don't take one!!
To throw it on the pitch etc would be wrong and somewhat childish!!

Some of you on here are pathetic!! I dont like the idea of the red or the badge, but hey ho. As far as some you are concerned you are happy to tell a man to stick his gift where the sun dont shine. THis is the man who has saved the club from extinction and further put a level of investment into the team which has resulted in us being 8 POINTS CLEAR AT THE TOP and about to end the 50 years going no-where. Its all well a good to live in the past and look through rose coloured glasses that it was all beautiful when we were blue, lets face it in reality it was pretty dam ugly. lets not insult this man he may have done something we are not in favour of but he does not deserve to be insulted.
P.S. We could be far worse off just think of Blackburn, Forrest, Birmingham Portsmouth as clubs that have had crazy decsions made that make us look like saints

has anyone actually tried throwing a scarf a decent distance?

This is getting boring now!! I really hope it doesnt ruin the atmosphere tomorrow because at the moment that should be every city fans priority now is to make the most hostile atmosphere for a game which is classed as a derby!!! Once that game is finished then we can concentrate on scarf throwing or waving which ever you prefer
