VINCENT TAN'S BIRTHDAY

Thu Feb 14, 2013 8:36 pm

The scarves being handed out before the Brighton game on Tuesday have been delivered to the club today.

The red scarves with white lettering ' CARDIFF CITY FIRE AND PASSION' have the current badge on either end.

25,000 of these were shipped from Turkey.

The Brighton home game is just days before Vincent Tan's 61st birthday and he is apparently giving these away as a present to the fans.

Maybe we should all sing Happy Birthday

The best present he could give the fans is a blue kit and the old badge

last scarf i bought was a riverside fc used it on the march against the riddler .i also remember the constant struggle to pay the bills hmrc etc im not happy about the red shirt but i put up with it because unlike others in the past tan seems to have stuck his money into the club 8 points clear at the top exciting times ahead of us etc as a cardiff fan im more cheesed off with the fact that we seem to be losing a generation of potential supporters as swansea are allready in the premiership kids who might have supported cardiff are now going with swansea purely because they are where we want to be mr tan keep putting your money in get us up and move on with a profit when the time is right

The clubs not forcing you to take one!! Grown men your suppost to be not children!

If the Anti red fans hated the rebrand that much they wouldnt turn up to games tbh

I don't believe anyone thinks they are being forced to take one Carwyn but the club are cleverly trying to make it look a red stadium.

And have you ever thought that many people support the team and don't want to walk away from the team.

My opinion is if fans are not happy with the rebrand and hate it that much then why pay the person that made the changes?
I understand some wont walk away from supporting the team but will these people be still moaning if we are still in red in say 20 years time?

But there's to many men on here who act like 6 year olds! We never going to go back blue, so we may as well move forward!
It's the dinosaurs now stopping the club moving on!

And there's no point us playing in red and having a blue stadium, I think the club got a great idea!

Not sure Jinks.

Do you think though that maybe the scarf idea could have been timed better ?

Looking at the photo of the scarf on the email for the club, the bottom is obscured, but at a guess it looks like the bluebird has been removed :o but come Tuesday, we will know for sure.
