Should be revoked if continually not being used IMO.

Did not look half empty to me, how much did you have to drink before the game?

People pay their money so it's up to them if they turn up or not.

If the club were that bothered they'd offer to buy tickets back per match if they're not going to be used by the s/t holder

If people are only using it to get a cheaper ticket with no intention of taking kids then it has to be addressed.

City fans buying them for thier kids who never go down but using that childs season ticket when they need big game tickets etc

Re: Family stand club needs sorting

Season tickets are 49 quid next season not 10 quid, sorted. No one will want to miss a game.

Re: Family stand club needs sorting

Something needs sorting must be a way in the future that these tickets can be passed on.
Example i have 3 seats in family stand for next season, i have my kids every other weekend so they cant attend some matches, and due to work commitments cant always make it to some matches myself, id prefer to give my tickets away to any genuine city fan than rather see empty seats , but unless they change it back to tickets rather than cards, it will be difficult especially living in Worcester to pass my season ticket cards on .

This definitely needs sorting, my nephew decided last minute he wanted to come to his first game today, I rang the ticket office Monday and was told there were not 2 seats together! Then upon turning up could see loads together, my nephew is 5 years old and the only place we could get 2 together was in the canton, normally not an issue for me but for a 5 year old some of the language was a bit unsuitable. ( I was aware of that fact before taking him, but he insisted on going).

Lot of kids play football early doors on the weekend. If this was a 3pm kickoff there'd have been more there.

This is not the main reason although could have been used as a reason for yesterday if needed!!
My son didn't finish footy until 11:45 yesterday, he was str8 in car then a mad rush back to the house to pick the mrs and 4yr old daughter up. Got to NP at 5 to 1! Around me in the Grange there are lots of groups of blokes (all ST holders and there every week) but also lots of empty seats week in week out. Can only be down to these 10 pound under 9's tickets. Is a great idea by the club but unfortunately has been exploited by some people. Looks like the club has put prices up to £49 for next season which will help but people with the price freeze they will still be £10 so still think there will be empty seats even if we do get to the premier league. Think come the end of the price freeze things could change but hopefully not too drastic as to keep families of 4 like myself from not being able to afford to go.

We need to have a seat exchange system though.

Over Christmas I took the family on holiday so we missed the 2 big games, I would have readily surrendered my 3 seats obviously together back to the club so they could use them.

The capacity problem wasn't an issue until last season when we sold out the family to season tickets only, so selling a projected empty seat at £11 a season to hook the next generation was a good idea.

Not sure what other clubs do...Any ideas

It seems they need a new system in place.

There is a seat exchange policy in place. If you cannot make a game simply phone the club and tell them...they will try and sell the tickets on.

I did it and the club sent me a letter thanking me.

On the matter of the seats that are always unoccupied, I know which ones they are by me so the club will know which ones they are for the whole family stand. They should phone the main seat holder (the adult) and ask if they intend using the seat/seats for the next home match if that seat has not been used for a certain number of games. If the adult confirms they will not be used the club can sell them on.

When new season tickets are sold for the family section some new terms and conditions need to be added during the sale i.e. the club has the authority to re-claim tickets that are not used on a consistent basis.

Needs to increase to make sure they are not wasted and the adult prices should be increased significantly too IMO...
