Strange one - ticket office

Sun Feb 17, 2013 3:20 pm

I was in the ticket office before the fame yesterday and next to me was a man who had a season ticket for himself and his son. His request was simple. His son couldnt make it, so his mate is here to take the ticket and is willing to pay an extra even the full fee if neccessary. The ticket office answer.....no!

I jst cant get my head around this. In fact at one point the bloke said we are millions of pounds in debt, im offering u money to fill an empty seat, and your saying no?

So we have a go on here about those who dont turn up but the club are not making it easy are they!
The club shop official possibly manager actually said because its classed as 'high profile' then they are unable to do anything. What does that even mean?!?!

My mate had me and my sons season cards yesterday, took his brother in and upgraded the under 16 card, and in they went.
The only reason I can think of is that their cards were for the family stand.
Mine is in the ninian

This is exactly the reason. Without prior notice and a fan no. The club will not allow an adult ONA child's seat in the Family Stand.

Also think of the fixture we had.

I can understand the fixture. It still seems crazy. U cant not sell a ticket as somebody might kick off in the ground. Thats why you have cctv, stewards and police. He offered full ticket value, i dont see any good reason for them to say no

The club don't have a lot to say in the matter, yesterday's game is classed as a category A game, so you would not be able to upgrade a child's ticket, although you can for lesser category games you need to contact them in advance and

Pay the difference. The club have strict guidelines put in place with the police.
