We would be top of the league if we'd worn blue all season. This season isn't about the colour of our shirts. We have an excellent young manager who has built an excellent squad who will, hopefully, reach the Premiership next season. More important than anything there has been massive investment in the team BUT, Cardiff City now play in red. Rebrand, new image, whatever you want to call it, political parties do it all the time, high street shops, television programmes and bands do it, so why not football teams.
I don't want to go down this well trodden road, the right and wrong of the new image has been well debated on here and elsewhere. What's important now with the season drawing to a climax is that we support the team and that team this year play in RED. With every visit to CCS there are more red shirts but we should ALL support the boys, swallow our pride and wear red be it shirts or scarves. Make the stadium OURS and that like it or not means RED.
Political parties re-brand to survive, Labour becomes New Labour. Cardiff City's new image is also about surviving. Would it really be better to be bankrupt in the lower leagues and blue??? There are a many dinosaurs on this site who unfortunately do not/will not change. This is the same with every rebranding but we all know what happened to the dinosaurs don't we.
Support Cardiff City and if that means red then so be it.
