Re: Blue Tuesday

A load of people will be putting there scarfs in a pile back outside the club shop after the game , trying to get as big a pile as possible to make a statement to tan instead of throwing them on the pitch .
Pretty much just excepting them and saying thank you for his input into the club but then giving them back so as to say we except the rebrand to a point but will never wear it !!
Hope you all join in
It will also stop bans from happening
Whilst also wearing blue :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Didnt bother Tan when he insulted the club's identity and traditions.

Not being funny but judging by the response on Twitter it seems like people are happy with us playing in red.

I dont think people are reluctantly accepting anymore...they're positively for it.

They've all been blinded by the Premier League lights. Such a shame.

I don't usually take a scarf but my blue, white and yellow bar scarf is coming with me! :ayatollah:

It's not a insult its a way of saying thank you by us excepting them but no thank you we love our blue by giving them back .
It's safe and its legal plus it won't distract the players
Perfect way of demonstrating IMO :ayatollah:

If red insults you that much just politely refuse the scarf or donate it to your local charity shop, the idea of wearing the oppositions colour blue is a bit strange as well, you were all supporting a team in red last saturday so personally i think its hypocritical to accept a red scarf and dump it outside the club shop, talkabout throwing your toys out of the pram

If the rebrand doesn't insult you just carry on with your premiership at all costs way of supporting city and others will carry on there's !!

And by the way Brighton wear lime green stripes away and probably won't be in blue

In the same way you have every right to wear the red shirt, we have a right to not want to support it, this is a simple peaceful gesture, that will not disrupt the team or lead into violence or angry protests.

Instead of putting down every opportunity we have to show our views, let us get on with what we believe in and let the numbers do the speaking.

Never thought I'd hear the day that wearing blue down Cardiff Coty would be called "strange".

Sad times.

 ive been a season ticket holder for 15+ years so dont talk to me about premiership football you clown, So what exactly are you doing about the rebrand? if it insults you that much you must vote with your feet and not go to the games? I didnt want it as much as anybody else but its here to stay under the current ownership so get used to it, who can blame VT for thinking red is now accepted when we'r getting 23000+ crowds without a sniff of protest and red shirts selling out :o

Probably chose the wrong word, what i mean is from a players point running out to a home crowd who are wearing the oppositions colour :old: sign of the times i know

What annoys me is when people say we sold out for the lure of premiership football yet we were striving for it in Blue too? Hypocritical much

I dont wear colours or support the rebrand, but dont you think wearing blue when we'r playing a side in blue might be the slightly disruptive to the players? Just my point of course :malky:

Good effort, this needs some media attention to really get a more popular response.

Wow 15+ years so proud of you
There's nothing anybody can do on there own it needs to be a collective peaceful protest by the majority of fans to get him to notice the underlying anger behind all this rebrand shit .
We were getting 23k before the rebrand which is a fact so don't pretend it's boosted numbers it hasn't its just lost a lot of die hard old heads and replaced them with plastics who just want to watch man utd next year .
You just said he THINKS its excepted but with a safe protest like this which shows thanks to him for saving the club by excepting the scarf but also shows solidarity towards our blue heritage by returning them in a visible place (not on the pitch) then he might realise there's a problem and compromise slightly to get everybody back on the same team !
People are trying to do something about it and when it changes it will be down to the people who never gave up not the ones who just let it go !!

I don't need any pat on the back or want one , just want back what should never have been taken away in the first place .
Bored of you now ,you slag people off for not doing anything then when they try you slag them off for trying
A compromise is fine with me not a full return to blue it can be easily sorted out with give and take from both sides . If you don't support what the peaceful pro blues are trying to do don't support it ,but equally don't put any of us down for trying , it's better than throwing them on the pitch !!

Not slagged anybody off i asked what your doing about it? I dont want red but and as i said in my 1st post il politely say "thanks but no thanks" and refuse the offer rather than dump it outside the club shop :thumbright: good luck with the protest :ayatollah:

Re: Blue Tuesday

As you've posted this on here and the other board theres every chance the club knows about this and you'll be prevented from doing it.I've got no problem with what your doing just the timing but each to his own.My own view is that your will get the result commensurate with your minority standing much like Chuckles with his petition.

Stapes you keep saying about how we getting 23k crowds with no protests, and asking people what they are doing about it.

this is what were doing trying to organise blue tuesday. You keep having a go for people not doing anything about the rebrand and when we try to do something like this you write it of and have digs at it.

also brighton will be playing in green not blue.
