Tomorrow night.

Mon Feb 18, 2013 6:39 pm

Evening.

Will you come out and play tomorrow night? I know you did at the Amex and must admit I thought we was rather fortunate to get a draw as thought you looked good. Think we were taken aback from you on how you played as most teams park their bus and try and hit us on the counter attack like Watford did and we got punished badly but we've learnt our lesson from that day and have made sure we're not so naive again. Arsenal came and played our game and if it wasn't for that fluke goal in the 85th minute then we'd have had a draw.

We in 7th and realistically can only catch Middlesbourgh as the rest are out of sight. If it wasn't for Middlesborugh dire performances then the Play - offs would have been sown up and 5 clubs fighting for that 2nd automatic spot.

Middlesborough lose at the weekend has given us a massive lift and we can beat any team in this division if we click which we haven't yet as we're hit and miss, go on a run then lose a few and draw shit loads. We are the draw specialists so I predict a draw but saying that we seem to be your bogey side, can't remember the last time you beat us but saying that you've improved your squad and have an impeccable record at home but we all know that complacently comes into it so we're hoping you're complacent tomorrow evening.

Thoughts?

Shit or bust for us, we need to go all out attack and can see us nicking it if you play an open game.

We struggle when teans park the bus, give us space and we flourish

We are looking to attack more these days, the score flattered brizzle we should have beat them five nil easily. You are a much better team but I think we are due to really click any time soon, so I predict a three nil win :ayatollah:

You see it's opionins. I could see from that game that you'd be right up there. You're only a couple of sides that I've seen at ours who have given us a game. Why haven't we won more at home? Just look at the Leeds game, we should of been out of sight by half time and missed that pen in the last few mins. That's our story this season at home and away :sad7:

Like Brittcutt said in the interview after the Blackburn game, we fear no one in this league and will go to Cardiff looking for the win. We've been to defensive playing with no wingers and 2 or even three defensive midfielders. Gus has come out and said it's a win or lose from now on so shall be interesting to see the team selection tomorrow evening. Got to start with Buckley on the wing or Lua Lua.

Ah, you see this is where the complacently could come into play. You know you're up and you all know it. Only a disacter will stop you from reaching the promised land and I mean a disaster which will not happen. How many game do you need to win or points from your last games? can't be many.

Wheras we are hungrier than you as we're trying to hold on to Middlesborough ankles for dear life and know that a good away win tomorrow could be our spring board that we so desperately need to kick start our season as it keeps faulting.

Sounds like we are in for an exciting game of football tomorrow night mate, end to end hopefully, a draw wouldn't be the end of the world for us. :ayatollah:

Re: Tomorrow night.

Mon Feb 18, 2013 7:16 pm

Going to your place and earning a point at the start of the season, when our away form was abysmal, was quite an achievement for us! But our home form is something else, providing we don't concede early and our fans don't get on the players backs, you might be in for a long night!(Also, whittingham is due a goal or two ;) )

But I hope you guys get a playoff spot as you play some cracking football, have good support, and gave us nooney!

Re: Tomorrow night.

Mon Feb 18, 2013 7:16 pm

Expecting a win in this division is foolish. Brighton will be a tough game, they have some decent creative players and could easily do us. Of course I'm optimistic but to expect a win is stupid.

You have no reason to be 'hungrier' than us, as we are fighting for promotion and not there yet.

And I think we need 6 more wins from 14 games.

How is it stupid if we're top of the league by 8 pts and playing a side in 7th?

I expect the players to produce what they have been doing almost all season, which would lead to me expecting a win.

You don't have to tell me what we're missing, I'm still in rage at him leaving. He's the type of player we need now as we bought Alloa in and miss what Noone delivered for us, Problem with Noone was there was no one in the box to meet his crosses for us :sad7:

Think it will be a tight game,

First time I seen city at home on Saturday and was impressed but I also went to Brighton away and didnt think u looked that dangerous in front of goal.

I say a draw 1-1, but as the others say if u give us space we could have a ball, if Noone plays well he will make a difference,

Also think Bellamy is due a goal soon. :ayatollah:

We keep is extremely well but get really frustrated when teams refuse to press forward. All the commentators have said our game suits the premiership and not the championship because we don't like em up and at us which they are right. Just hope Bellamy isn't playing as he's a pain in the backside. bloody head ace that fella.
