the "Wear Blue for the Bluebirds" campaign = LAUGHABLE

Mon Feb 18, 2013 7:08 pm

Who on earth at KCB towers thought this bright idea up?

Ask fans to wear Blue on a night when its likely to be around three or four degrees. The only colours you will see tomorrow night is a sea of dark coloured coats because it will be freezing. You wont see red..... you wont see blue.

Amazing thought lol. They wonder why KCB is laughed at!

It's in return for the "red" it's quite simple. Instead of wearing a red scarf, wear a blue one.

The "spirit" of KCB is still there hence this nonesense.

As for the scarves, oh well lets hope 24,000 people have a blue scarf to make this work

I always wear blue even though I support the rebrand for the benefit it brings to Cardiff City. I would never demonstrate against the club (over the change from blue to red) but I will use passive means to show that one day I want the blue shirt to return.

So my coat that is blue with the Bluebird on it, the one coat I wear at every game, you don't see blue?

With have no chance getting back to blue because no one will see it.

I don't think you've grasped why this idea was brought up.

The club are giving out red scarves. So we're bringing blue scarves. It's very simple if you think about it.

No. It's to make a stand and to show the club that they can't change the fans.

But Jon there are Fans who have excepted the rebrand ....... so surely we need to work in Harmony to celebrate what looks like possibly our best season for many many years .......by accepting each others views rather than balling each other out over who s right or wrong will help heal the wound that was caused by the rebranding other wise it will fester and poison
I personally accepted the red but my heart will remain blue .....but as Ive stated before if the team I love are proud to play in Red and lets be honest this year they have excelled themselves so far ...then I will support them in red and I will be proud to celebrate OUR success along with who ever wishes to share it with me :malky: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

That's fair enough, we've all got different opinions.

I'm always going to support Cardiff City, even if we never change back to blue, but the club are trying to force red onto the fans by using the "free season ticket" bribe, and that is completely wrong in my opinion. I will always be blue.
