The Anti Red Fans !!

Tue Feb 19, 2013 11:25 pm

Like all of you that went to the game tonight, i was shocked by how many were wearing the red Scarf's ! So i don't think it's wide of the mark to suggest that the only people who haven't accepted the re-brand are the ones who post their feeling on our message boards ?

I also think it is a messageboard issue.

I can assure you. What I seen in the pub on Saturday as the game is going on there are alot who wont step into the ground again because of the change of colour so the precentages inside the ground are always going to be untrue.

I agree Chris, messageboards are a place for a vocal minority to make their feeling heard, the stadium showed the true divide....minimal!

But it's definitely worth noting that of the supporters down there who wore their red scarfs last night, I bet the vast majority would switch back to blue if there was a choice, but there isn't, so they've decided to reluctantly accept it and get on with supporting CCFC!

Got to disagree Gav. I think most of them are ACTIVELY HAPPY that we are red.

They're happy to be red because they are intelligent human beings, who realise if we don't keep Tan happy, he will walk. I'm not happy to see our club go back to the days of administration and losing to division three sides! What's the point in losing this fantastic stable position this club is in (on and off the pitch), because they don't play in a certain colour at home. One day Tan will leave, I guarantee you the first new man to come in will change back to blue to get the fan's full support.

If he walks, he walks. The Prem ain't everything. Just like society people have been driven by greed, consumerism and money.

You cannot be "reluctant" about red if you'll quite happily wear a red scarf!

Completely agree with this, don't think there are many that would choose red over blue if there was a choice but unfortunately there isn't so it's either support the club anyway, turn up and wear blue as a small protest or boycott games. All of which I can understand people doing and respect their choice.

I for one have decided to support the club anyway as I have waited since the day my son was born to be able to take him to games and support the club. If I turned my back now I would risk my son ending up supporting Man Utd, Liverpool, or even worse the Jacks. No choice for me! :ayatollah:

Sneggy, last night it dawned on me. You're totally right with that.
