On the pitch.......It could have been 5-2, like you say though, one of them nights.
Off the pitch......The club is dancing to the tune of the man who has paid the juke box.

And 95% of fans are fine with that.

looking from outside in i get the feeling its more 60-40 / 70-30 than 95-5
ironic that a season you should be all embraseing and enjoying is leaving a bitter taste in some mouths ,
it could be worse you could be us ,shite and going down

We played o.k. just did'nt have any luck up front. They had 3 clearcut chances and scored from 2. One of those nights.

Yesterday proved the messageboard is a tiny % of ccfc's attending fans.

More red yesterday than one of your home games!

Two things I care passionately about, football and music. Wouldn't dance to One Direction or Take That just because they are top of the charts but seems to me that far too many are just desperate at any cost to reach the premiership, the most over-rated league in the world.

Maybe they want some respect off their friends that follow (via TV) Man Utd, Arsenal or Liverpool but I had a lot more respect for people who were proud to say they were Cardiff fans even when struggling in the dungeon. I've said it before, many don't turn up to watch Cardiff, they turn up to watch the opposition. 1994, over 20,000 against Man City and when the same squad of players played the likes of Leyton Orient most didn't bother to turn up. They couldn't even use the prices as an excuse back then either.

Listened to the game last night Steve, (due to my self-imposed exile) and City were mighty unfortunate, it was only one game, it's not panic time but after seeing the pictures of the sea of red and after months of beating myself over the head for suffering for my principles, I can safely say this morning is the first day I can say that I'm glad I wasn't there and it had NOTHING to do with the result. They'll bounce back because the squad has commitment, quality and the right manager and I really hope for the likes of you and a good many others that they do.

Also, a lot of people who post on here do'nt appear to attend games, judging by the threads that appeared on here during game time.

Rebrand aside, on the night it was just one of them cliché's where not taking your chances gets you punished.

Brighton had 2 shots on target and scored 2 goals, their first was very well taken and their second was a deflection. Not saying we deserved to lose that, not saying Brighton did either, but the 2-0 scoreline did not reflect that match at all! Both teams played some good football, just we weren't clinical enough. Sh*t happens!

That is hilarious, how embarresing is that for you and your support,
What price Premier league eh, when your playing Wigan at home next season in a stadium full of red and losing 2-0 do you think it will be worth it.
I genuinly feel for your older loyal fans, they have been through some real hard times the same as us (BCFC) and now have to put up with thousands of plastics that will disapear as soon as you lose a few games.
You have sold out to someone who wants ( has) turned you into a far east football club.
Wales is your country and you should be proud of it, not fuckin Malaysia.
Sort yourselfs out, to those against the rebrand i say to you, get out and protest, its the only way and you should have done it months ago.
Principles, Cardiff are blue and Welsh ffs.

Got to admit, I have to admire you for sticking to what you have said. I can't stop going because "it's what I do" and have no other excuse.
I think the team will bounce back because of the reasons you have already mentioned.
I do think it's sad, that the likes of you (and your lad) are sitting at home listening to the game, when I have seen how you were so passionate for the club in the past. :(

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN AWASH WITH BLUE , IF THE FREE SCARVES WERE BLUE. WHAT DOES FREE SCARVES PROVE ABOUT THE FEELING FOR RED? OTHER THAN PEOPLE TRYING TO GET A FREEBIE AND A FREE SEASON TICKET. GEEZ YOU COULDNT MAKE IT UP. IT PROVES NOTHING ABOUT THE RED/BLUE DIVIDE. JUST PROVES A LOT OF OUR FANS WILL TAKE ANYTHING FOR NOTHING!!!

And the bribe of a refund of your season ticket for one lucky person. So a free scarf and if you wear it then you stand a chance of a refund a bit of a no brainer for most. I didnt go last night but was told the atmosphere was totally dead. All very sad

As a Wurzel I just can't get my head around all these ( so called) fans wearing there red scarfs.
I just saw your crowd from last night on tv,it truly shocked me to see all that red.
How far will your owner go?
Will all these scarf wearers even accept a name change?, because the more he gets away with ( he will feel he can do anything now) the more I can see that Malaysia will be incorporated into your clubs name.
