There's a lot of talk about how many people wore the red scarf last night but remember that those wearing a red scarf would be easier to spot than those not wearing a red scarf.
I do think that those that didn't wear the scarf was more prominent than we thought. I know in the Canton Stand it was about 50-50. I think it was slightly more in favour of those wearing the red scarf in the Ninian Stand and Grandstand. I'll be interested to see how many wear red at the next home game.
The basic fact remains though that the vast majority don't really give a shit about the colour which, for me, is a gut wrenching thing to see.

it was a cold night, probably the best time to wear a free scarf
i was happy with my blue one tbh, but you're right in saying we'll see less red scarfs next game! most just took them as they were free!

Where did you come up with 50/50 and slightly more in grandstand??
Those in blue (myself included) stuck out a mile. There was a tiny section in canton, thats about it.
Easy to spot blue.

Not blue but people who weren't wearing the red scarves. It was definitely close to 50-50 in the Canton Stand. I said more in favour of the red scarf wearers in the Grandstand and Ninian Stand though.

That's the exact point I am trying to make. When you were in amongst it you could see how it was actually a 50-50 split but because the bright red was so much more prominent (nice tactic there Tan!) it gave the illusion that more people were wearing red than there actually were.
