right loads of people have different views...

so...

if tan changes the badge and the bluebird goes and changes the name so we are no longer cardiff city fc will you stay or will you support another team or will you do something else with your weekends ?

if you decide you've had enough but still want to follow a football team will you support some one else ?

or

would you try to make a new club like fc united of manchester fans did ... ?

or would you walk away from football all togethor ?

FC cardiff united sounds good right about now in a blue kit with a huge bluebird on the badge :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
I would be willing to put money into it :ayatollah:

Would knock it on the head i reckon, if the name Cardiff City changes then we will no longer be the Cardiff City, that club will have died forever, and i reckon things are all ready in place to re name us CARDIFF DRAGONS next season, and before people all start saying you cant change the name since MK Dons did it etc, you CAN, so long as the football league and premier league are notified in good time before the advent of the following season, same with colour and badge, nick names can be changed pretty much at will :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:

I'd get to playing Football myself if the Bluebird goes.

That'd be the final straw, never mind a name change

Some of you would need to give up jobs for that to work because running a football club is a full time job.

I was fortunate that I was self emnployed and could put alot of time into Clydebank that my fellow directors couldn't but my work and personal life suffered big time for it. While I still miss the involvement, I felt relieved to have the pressure gone.

So while it sounds romantic, trust me when I say it's hard work.

Why not get a few who are currently out of work to help keep things tick over? :ayatollah:

PS. I have already emailed the FL this morning about registering a new club with the English system and they said we'd be allowed to join.

They need to be committed to the cause and be sensible, as long as you have that then anything is possible.

You have emailed the football league this morning and they have replied with open arms?

Would you not need to show some form of buisness set up or structure?

Other wise you could just register a Sunday league team in the football league system!!!

Honestly, some people!!

Obviously the FL have heard of Mr Barnett!

Also wouldn't the FL point you in the direction of the League of Wales??

If Cardiif city goes, i'm out, i'll go and support my local team. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo not swansea town, i'd go and watch schalke 04. I've watched and followed with interest schalke, mainly because of the heritage and background (a miners club from the mining area in Germany, and being a miner from 1974 - 1991 brought about that support) and also they have one of the most passionate fan bases in the world, which excites me, even now when I am into my 50's!!! But untilo that arises, i'll still be a bluebird :ayatollah: See you in Wolverhampton you mad happy lot. :old:

I am a freelance worker and I run a club in the Lazarou Sunday League and that's time consuming enough! I would help where I could if an FC Cardiff was set up though.

A group of about 60 people already put this into action and I believe they met with the director of FC United to discuss how to get it going,I can't remember who was doing it TBH but I know the name FC Bluebirds of Cardiff was suggested.
I didn't go last night and glad I didn't,I stuck with it hoping the red would go away but it seems it will only escalate and I am having second thoughts about it all.

Anything is possible with money !!!
If enough fans feel strong enough about it and put there season ticket money into a starter club it will work :ayatollah:
