What I don't understand

Wed Feb 20, 2013 12:46 pm

For disclosure I am a 80's & early 90 fan who returned to the fold 3 years ago, so I am not happy about what's happened but not overly worrying about it, a reluctant acceptor.

If the old school are the heart and soul of this club. They are the only ones who show true emotion and sing loudly every game, and by large hate the red thing because they were the 5000 who stood on the steps on that rainy Tuesday night at NP in a bottom of the dungeon division clash against Halifax

- [Why have I not heard a pro blue song whilst waving your blue scarf's ?

Easier to blame it on the newbies, whilst doing nothing ? I am not have a childish pop at you, I do get it. VT can't and shouldn't push you out of your club and I believe TLG's approach is wrong but honourable, we do need vocal leaders.

For the same reason that nothing has been organised, its all idle chit chat on a message board. People think it somehow makes them a better fan if they gush about it on here or ccmb but when it comes down to it, they don't care enough to do something about it. They are no different to the people who are in the stadium with the free scarfs, everyone has accepted it, which is fine imo but constantly passing the buck isn't fair.

All the pro blues are segregated in the stadium so its very hard to get a chant going, especially when they represent a significant minority as we found out last night. Less than 5% of the stadium dispersed is not going to create a sound.

Because football is getting more sexy and technical, so people are intersted in watching it even more rather than chanting and shouting all the time. Nothing wrong with the odd one dont get me wrong, or a situation when the boys need backing :ayatollah:

And to be honest should they? If the majority of people are happy with Red then why can't a very small minority just get on with it and accept the change and that the majority of people have got no quibble with it???
