Football violence in the prem, get ready.

Thu Feb 21, 2013 12:25 pm

As we all know, ccfc has always had a reputation with regards to trouble at football.

Although the club has moved on since stoke and chelsea away brought the draconian full force of the law come crashing through the early morning door, resulting in over the top (just my opinion) prison sentences and lengthy banning orders, a lot of the teams we will face if we get to the prem still have a perception of us as a firm that that mix it in large away numbers and some clubs more hardcore fans may want to send out a welcoming party. Fans of teams like stoke probably still think our support is the same as when we used to play them.

I do not believe the sky hype that the prem is all foam hands and jamie redknapps, they like to brush anything damaging their " brand" under the carpet. Although trouble at football is nothing compered to years ago, cardiffs reputation will imo opinion ensure the likes of spurs, stoke, chelsea, man utd, west ham, liverpool, everton etc will be looking forward to us coming up, and not for our football.

I hope the muggy, scarf waving, rugby type, glory hunters that are now following the club dont get a nasty shock when they visit goodison park.

There may well be some teenage mobs from spurs, chelsea etc visiting cardiff, but they will be put in a pub for them smash up then get escorted to the ground. At their grounds, our new red scarf waving fan could be in for a tough time.

There is no trouble in the pl, been to chelsea spurs west ham stoke wba man utd liverpool newcastle and not a hint of trouble, the days of the west ham icf, or the chelsea headhunters are long gone i think its you who are in for a shock, most away fans will be middle class who just want to watch the game or maybe make a weekend of it.

Look gory.

The last time ccfc went to stamford bridge a lot of boys from both sides ended up with a prison sentence, that a fact.

Your saying it as if it's a badge of honour for the club. Like I said why does it matter that the Jacks didn't get some boys arrested and put in jail for an obscene amount of time? It doesn't.

People reading between the lines again.

I am not condoning football violence, simply stating that some clubs may see us coming up as an excuse for an old fasioned tear up. The last time we played at stamford bridge being a prime example.

If chelsea put out the mob that greeted us then, today, we'd get crucified. I saw a lot of our boys protected the youngsters that day. I know everyone now slams our boys for past misdeameanors. But in my opinion the boys i saw there that day have nothing to be ashamed about. Well done lads.

Hahah..... you're not Cardiff anymore, that's how other teams perceive you. Just a bunch of red flag sell outs.

What a stupid thread. Nobody cares.

They see us as what we are, and what we all saw a few nights ago. Happy clapping fans with no care for any tradition that the club has willing to support any defacing to the club. We are in for some torrid piss taking should we go up. And in my opinion, deservedly so.
