My neighbour went to tuesdays match proudly wearing the blue scarf she has worn for years and years(both home and away)when she took her seat she was amazed to see that she was the only person in the entire block who was wearing a blue scarf.she was targetted immediately with piss takes and snide remarks with one fan even asking why she didn't f**k off as we dont play in blue.This is not a rumour or a made up thread and the woman in question is writing to cardiff city demanding that something gets done.this is getting f*cking out of hand-we are fighting with each other"we are creating our own downfall!!!

a fight was averted in the concourse after the game, the subject "Blue v Red", from what I could tell someone threw their red scarf, and this set some old guy off kicking off about "how you should not throw the scarf away", but then he threw his blue one at the guy he was arguing with.... then the usual handbags before some friends of his got involved, and a few women throwing a bit of lip....

City do need to nip this shit in the bud...

She is in the ninian stand i can't tell anyone the row or seat as she might get even more persecuted.the club will be hearing from her though.i told her to go to the echo,but she doesn't want the publicity and hassle.If anyone abused my missus or family,i would take a f*cking hammer to them and do the time.she will be wearing her blue scarf at the next home game though.

Yes i agree with you,it's not all one sided.We were going along ok until tues when the flames were fanned again.The timing of this scarf buisness was all wrong,should have given them away at the last home game.just stirred a hornets nest up this has and its not fair on the players.

All i could hear was some woman yelling 'I'm a woman" which then followed with the old guy going "Well I'm an old fucker" .

I just bought 2 blue city scarfs with the Cardiff city crest on in the club shop (not the new badge) and a couple of polo shirts with the old badge on. I've been going to the city since about 88 im not going to start wearing red because I dont want to wear it, I will always wear something with the bluebird on not the newer badge as I don't like the redness issue.

Perhaps this will be an excuse for the club to stop selling blue?

I would imagine there is a decent chance that she hasn't told you the whole story.

With these stories (from blue or red perspective) I will remain skeptical until proof is given (witnesses etc), too many people have a chip on their shoulder and a point to prove about this issue.

I saw no problems at all (in the Ninian).

I wore the red scarf and my usual blue and grey cap with the bluebirds logo.

The red scarf is now in the boot keeping my blue scarf company.

Shouldn't happen, I had my blue gear ( cardiff city Hoodie ) yes sad i know for for a 54 year old, but I also took and wore my Red scarf. I am in the middle here and can see both sides, which is why I alternate what I wear, but at the end of day we are Cardiff city and our fans have their own opinions right or wrong, so lets leave it there.

one thing did piss me off though seeing fans pushing other fans out of the grabbing as many scarf as they get, how many do they expect to wear !!!! and I must admit i was surprised by how many did actually wear them.

I find this infighting ridicuclous as do most other fans on this board, Bluebirds will be wearing blue for years, that will never change, if people want to wear red that is up to them, doesn't make them any less of a supporter.

Personally I am blue and will be forever but I still love the club above all else and that's the way it will be, no one should bully or put pressure on anyone who support Cardiff City whatever the colour they prefer, we're all in his together.
