That's a tough run for Hull, Watford's fixtures look easier and they are bang on form - I've got them on 71 points after 37 games and Hull on only 66 prior to our Leicester game on 12/3

That's a tough run for Leicester, they have got a big squad, but hopefully they will be tiring by the time they play us. If they don't pick up good results in their next 4 or 5 they could slip away.

Hate to say it but I don't think we will be top after the next 6 games
Thu Feb 21, 2013 11:28 pm
Next 5 games for us look tough like any other game but I will only predict the next game per usual and hope we bounce back.
Thu Feb 21, 2013 11:29 pm
I think hope we will be ok the game against Brighton you just have to write off we did everything except score they had limited chances and put them away shit happens .
We have been excellent this season and I dont see us being any different in the run in but I do think there will be twists and turns along the way.It will go to the wire but we will do it the hard way the Cardiff way but I think we will do it this team has it all and are bench is good .
Hope I am right but I am not counting on anything hope we do it this year.

Agree

Our next five are tough, could just as easily take less than 6 points as take 12. Clean sheets and our defence will probably make the difference.

By the Sheffield Wed game we could either be laughing or it could all go terribly wrong.

Considering we won the first 10 at home the 3w 1d 2l since then seems to be a bit disappointing but our last six away are 5w 1d 0l so maybe not a bad thing having lots of away games if we can keep that form going.

I'm a self confessed pessimist but I feel this wolves game will be pivotal. We don't want any doubt to creep into the players minds but hopefully the experience in the side like Bellers, Smith and Helgusson will see us through
I'm nervous though.

Manager Malky Mackay reassures Cardiff supporters after defeat
Malky Mackay has reassured Cardiff City fans following the midweek home defeat to Brighton.
Cardiff's lead over second-placed Hull at the top of the Championship was cut to five points after losing 2-0 to Brighton.
The defeat ended a nine-match unbeaten run which had seen the Bluebirds open an 11-point lead at the top of the division in late January.
"I've got great empathy with our fans," Mackay said.

“It's about keeping steady and keeping focused on what you're doing yourself, not what other people are doing”
Malky Mackay Cardiff City manager
"All I would say is stay strong [and] stay with us because we've got very professional people working here.
"We're working very hard every day to make sure we try and get where we want to be.
"We've got to make sure that we keep looking forward.
"It's good copy to talk about where everyone is, but really I will be doing that when there's three games to go.
"It's about keeping steady and keeping focused on what you're doing yourself, not what other people are doing."
Mackay said he was happy with the way his side played against Brighton despite suffering only their second home defeat of the season.
And the Cardiff manager added he did not feel the need to assess the defeat any differently to previous games this season.
"I don't do inquests," Mackay added. "We debrief after every game whether we win, lose or draw.
"It's about being professional and doing it properly - looking at the good points and looking at the points that aren't so good.
"We created enough chances to win three games. Had we not created chances, that's when you say 'right we need to do something different'.
"We've spoken about it, analysed it and now we head towards Wolves."
Mackay said he would not be taking Sunday's opponents Wolves lightly, despite their position in the Championship's bottom three.
Cardiff will once again be without young defender Ben Nugent for the trip to Molineux.
"Ben Nugent's still got the dead leg so will not be involved in the squad," Mackay said.
"That apart, we should have everyone fit from Tuesday night."

Some of what u read is really positive and then there's the negative side.
It's exciting but nerve wracking at the same time.
What will be will be, let's just see what happens,
Us, Hull and Udinese will all win, lose and draw some games, nobody will win them all.
We are in a great position and have got the squad to push on from where we are currently.
KEEP THE FAITH
