Where you would say enough is enough , and stop turning up to support Cardiff .
Personally for me, I've been going for 30 years , don't like the rebrand but accepted the changes so far, seeing Cardiff in the Premiership would be a dream come true, something us fans deserve with the shit we've had to put up with over the years .
But for me, If the team was ever to change the name of the club to Malyasia FC that would be the bottom line where I would walk away.

How could they change the club to Malaysia FCC
The club is in Cardiff and always will be IMO. Perhaps if tan didn't step in and stop the club going into admin we could have been another Wimbledon and then we may have had a name change but never will it change to Malaysia FC!!

Sounds ludicrous doesn't it. Just as ludicrous as us changing to red and replacing our wonderful much loved badge for the worst badge in the history of football, did this time last year
This is how things work, you don't just change it to malaysia fc, first you change the colour, then the badge, then the nickname, then maybe we become Cardiff City Malaysia, then we drop the City and so on and so on.......

Any kind of name change.
I'd become a TV footie fan then, occasionally going to random games at different clubs.

Tuesday night and all day yesterday I really considered not bothering anymore, I can completely understand those that have walked away. But for now I want to stay and fight for change. I get the feeling I'm not the only one.

People seem to forget the amount of teams Red Bull has bought out and changed their names and its happened in EU countries.

Doesn't make it right tho.
But when the rebrand came about I wondered why a company like say paddy power hasn't bought a club and turned it green.

Because football isn't an investment that is necessarily going to get you massive profits and that is the underlying basis many companies trade on. The others take into account brand and image as well such as Red Bull who have made a tremendous amount. Their football clubs run with the sole purpose of being advertising campaigns for the main company hence the kits reflecting the businesses identity. Then you have sole owners who are so rich they do it for the self gratification and personal image, i.e. they want to be adored and loved by many to give their lives a purpose and a legacy once they move on. Like him or loathe him Abramovich will always be remembered as the owner of Chelsea when the first London club won the CL. That's part of his legacy.
Paddy Power I assume, especially given the market they are in, are a business entirely focused on profit. As stated above football is not the best avenue for maximising profits plus many clubs have a tribal fan base (customers) who if things turn nasty cause problems for the image of the owners. Many companies directors also like to stay involved with a company they know and have mastered rather than complicate it taking a risk getting involved in something they have no knowledge of.
For example, Apple have interests in around 40 companies and all are related to the sector they are involved with. They could buy out a football team easily with the money they make or at least invest and rebrand to boost their image but its a massive risk and considering they're dominating in their own market its one they probably accept is one not worth taking.
