AFC Wimbledon have signed 19-year-old Cardiff City forward Jesse Darko on an initial one-month The Austrian-born youngster came through the youth ranks at Cardiff while Dons boss Neal Ardley was academy manager at the Welsh club.
He told AFC Wimbledon’s official club website:
“All season I have been trying to get out on loan and get first-team games under my belt.
“I am looking to do what I can for the team and help Wimbledon stay up.
“I worked with Neal Ardley for three years and he knows what I am like as a player.
“He knows that I will work hard for the team and do my best to help the club in this situation.”
Ardley added: “Darko is very quick, has good movement and he works incredibly hard along the front line.
“Importantly, he understands what I want the team to do and how I like us to press so I do not think it will take him long to fit in.”

I can't see Declan John going out on loan. Have a feeling he is going to be pushing for a place in the starting team next season!

I think Johnny Meades , who was formerly captain of the senior academy team when he was with us , is also currently there.

Declan John could do a fantastic job in League 1 with a team chasing down promotion imo.

I think if we get to the prem it would suit Declan John well.
Look at the likes of Luke Shaw from Southampton.

Spot on. Kyle Walker has built up since he has been at Spurs and he is the hottest fullback in the Prem.
