However there are two avenues you could go down. Firstly you can start in the English leagues like Merthyr did as the Welsh FA have no fight in them and teams in a lower english non-league would welcome teams which could bring many fans to their grounds. So the myth that a new team would have to go into the welsh league is now a myth because a president has been set.
Anyway if a new team were to go into the Welsh league because thats the way it preferred then there are very strong rumours that the Welsh league is going the same way as Ireland and become a Summer League so people won't have to switch their support at all as they can watch City in the winter months and the new club in the summer months and have the chance to watch football to watch all year round!!!!!
The reason I like the idea is because of the second avenue because I think summer football would go down well in Wales and the recent improvement of Shamrock Rovers getting to the UEFA group stage is proof that summer football for weaker leagues in Northern Europe is the right move but thats my own personal belief.

I gather you're iplying that the new club is for fans who are not happy with what is going on at the city with the rebrand???? if that's the case they would'nt be watching both teams would they??? fans who are happy to carry on watching Cardiff City will do so and, the disgruntled fans will only watch the new formed club would they not???

Well those would surely back the second avenue then. How else would they get their football fix during the summer months..? When Annis, others and I were bidding to buy Merthyr (and would have if it wasn't for agreddy administrator who wanted the club to die) one of the things which we felt was improtant was for the games not to clash with other bigger games within the South Wales area. That idea alone was proven to be a hit with City fans who were prepared to watch games either on a friday night or sunday. Can you imagine if there was a Cardiff team to watch during the summer months which is being run by Cardiff fans!!!! I'm sorry but its a win, win for everyone inmy opinion.

But why would cardiff city fans who are happy with the ways things are going on the pitch and, hopefully watching premiership football next season, want to watch a newly formed team by fans who are not happy with the existing set up????

Yeh if you look at it like that but your loyalties should lie with one club and you should only be a true fan of one club.
If fc bluebirds started it would be a fan and club divider so It's a really bad idea in my eyes.
Anyway there's already a team called bluebirds in the Merthyr league support them lol
