I use to buy the echo everyday now I just buy it on a Monday, if City have played on the weekend and only if they have won lol.
News of the world, stopped buying that years ago.

I don't buy the Echo unless I am in need of filling a quick half hour lunch break and even then I find myself severely unsatisfied. I find better match reports of our games online.

I get the Echo every day. It costs me 1p which, judging by some of the stories, it's overpriced even at that
I see that Steve Tucker every day, a scruffy, miserable b*stard at the best of times. I'm not keen on his attempts at humour and dry wit either. He seems to try too hard at that.
Oh, and he's a knob

I like Mondays with Blakey's opinion. I used to quite like Gilo, too

Yeah, I like reading Blake but I'm afraid the general woe of the rest of the paper prevents me from being urged to buy it!
Here's a statement, Blake for future Cardiff manager's role?
Tue Dec 15, 2009 11:29 am
As a cliche puts it, "he talks a good game". Thing is, most pundits do and wouldn't touch a manager's job. I know Blakey says it's a dream of his to manage City, but would he when it actually comes to push and shove?
Tue Dec 15, 2009 11:32 am
Hmmm, maybe. Maybe not though! It will remain a mystery. Also, you raise a good point about talking a good game. Southgate is one of the best talkers in football but his motivational skills and man management skills obviously need work. Maybe Blake would be the same.
Tue Dec 15, 2009 11:41 am
There are many examples of talking a good game. Hansen, Shearer, Sheringham, Townsend (debatable) and their ilk would rather be in a studio than on a training pitch or on their way back from a game when they're on MOTD, etc. I remember lawrenson was a coach at newcastle, but obviously found that being in the studio as a pundit was preferable to that, probably many reasons I would imagine
