football pitches

Need to find a pitch in Cardiff area to play a works 11 a side game. Eithier grass or astroturf would be ok.

Needs to be after 5.00 on a weekday.

I have contacted Talybont UWIC but they are fully booked when the students are there.

Given the lighter nights there is no need for floodlights.

Anybody got any suggestions or contact numbers i would be grateful.

How's about UWIC at Cyncoed? They do 11 a side pitches too. Plus there's the pitches up off the A470 on the Treforest Industrial Estate.

Other than that, just go over Heath Park or Roath Park or Trelai. All the posts are still up there.

Going to go for Cadelyn or Blackweir (aint Pontcanna still fecked from the Eistefodd a few years ago?)

poncanna has 4 pitches at the bottem , right by blackweir bridge

rest are still fooked

Caedelyn pitches were awful when we played there but that was in February so maybe scout them out and take a look. Not sure on Blackweir but they have the uni leagues on them as well so might not be in the best of states.

Pitches up there are terrible. Broke my ankle playing there a few years ago, chasing a long ball - nobody near me. Pothole the size of the Grand f*cking Canyon. Snap. Very painful.
