A new Bluebird is born

Today at 11.55am my wife gave birth to my 4th child, Sam James Hughes.

He was 4 weeks early and is in neonatal care.

Hopefully he'll be fine.

He has been told that he is a Bluebird

Sam remains in the Intensive Care Unit of Winchester Hospital. The doctors seem confident that he'll be okay.

The staff in that place are brilliant. The place although horrible (because so many little poorly kids) is a real credit to our health service.

Hopefully next season Sam will be the fan of Cardiff City, a premier league club.
