THE PFA has compiled its shortlist for this season's player-of-the year awards.
Manchester United star Wayne Rooney - along with Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas, Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez and Chelsea's Didier Drogba - are the players that will battle it out for this year's gong.
Rooney and Fabregas have also been shortlisted for the young player-of-the-year awards - along with Manchester City keeper Joe Hart (on loan at Birmingham) and Aston Villa midfield ace James Milner.
