Honestly, I doubted Borley for a while.

I'll agree he's definatly pulled through for us.

Borley, the day the Riddler is gone and the Malaysians are in, i'll love you

Re: STEVE BORLEY

There was a volcano in Iceland which has caused it ashes to float in the air, airlines are refusing to fly on health and safety grounds in case the engines get clogged up.

Re: STEVE BORLEY

Apparently the ashes consist largely of silicon which on impact with the engine heat will turn to glass and basically f**k the engines up!!! :geek:

Oh and yes, thank you Steve you told me at the Paul Merson night it wouldnt be easy but would all work out in the end....ulimately you were proved right, Cheers!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: STEVE BORLEY

here's what the ash can do! taken from true life, air crash investigation looks into the plane that crashed from volcanic ash etc , gives you more of a understanding

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 130688048#

the ash acts like a stand blaster hitting the plane, goes inot the engines, heats up and then clogs the engine

It's National Air Traffic Services who are refusing to let planes fly not the airlines. It has been proven that this stuff is dangerous when mixed with Aircraft engines. It is unprecendented for this action to take place but it is the right call.

There are still planes flying but under 4000 feet I believe.
