Went to Andover FC v Mangotsfield. Got chatting at the bar to a scary looking lad (skinhead, tattos and piercings). Conversation turned to what teams we followed. He followed Villa as well as Mangotsfield. I said i was Cardiff and with that he went to his wallet and said i know a Cardiff lad who has written some books and out came yr business card.

He met you at Merthyr v Mangotsfield-Bones was his name. He sends his regards. Good bloke-hates Swansea (after a snide kicking at the wretch years ago) and Bristol City.

2-1 to a Mangotsfield who were managed by Phil Bater. Controversy at end due to incompetent officials missing a blatant handball in the box which would have given the homeside who were down to 10 men the chance to level. The majority of the 125 strong home crowd were incensed. I stayed in the bar and hurled abuse at the lino before doing a little jig at the ft score from qpr.
