Not entirely sure they take Air Traffic Controllers on sponsorship but I may be wrong. I thought it was just pilots. If I was going for Air Traffic Controller I would go civy street. Really good money. Unless you want to go join the RAF or Navy specifically then I can recommend it but you will go away a lot I think. It's changing soon too and gonna be not long between tours.

I was thinking about this earlier. If there was a crash because of the volcanic ash then there would be outrage and long court hearings to find someone responsible.

Id blame the airlines for pushing to re-open the flights
Wed Apr 21, 2010 3:29 pm
Ryanair will charge you for fixing the plane

Do you think that BALPA would let the airlines force their member pilots to fly aircraft worth millions of pounds if they felt it was dangerous.
We are talking about highly skilled, educated professionals who have no reason to become kamikaze pilots.
Lloyds of london would also refuse to pay claims for loss of aircraft if the airlines failed to adhere to the limits imposed on them by the aircratft and engine manufacturers.
Of course its safe. Just this bloody government got it wrong again.
