When it started with the fans and the coppers were involved he actually went from the front up to the stair well and disappeared - My boy was singing "fatties going to jail" hen he came back and everyone cheered my boy was happy wnated to know where is Ninja had gone (his sidekick in the karate get up lol)

Entertaining and a good laugh had by us

I was right next to the Wednesday fans and as they were leaving we got different receptions from them. A gang of us were applauding them for their support of the Owls but some took exception and started the abuse. Only some though as quite a few did the Ayatollah and wished us luck in the play offs.

Anyway Tango man turned to all of us, did the Ayatollah, waved and blew a kiss to us as he left for the entrance tunnel. He got a tremendous reception for that and those that were feeling angry from last season started to mellow after seeing this performance from him.

I have heard the stories from some wednesday fans about him being a thorn in the side for them but on this side of the fence I sometimes wished we had a character like that. The gut was in tears when he left but from what I saw left with dignity and respect from the opposing fans.

I'd be in tears if I had a "gut" like that too
