With Expectation

Sun Apr 25, 2010 3:09 pm

comes disappointment

We have set out what was planned for the season, reach the play offs. That was the objective, we have done it but it has not got us a trophy or promotion, it just gives us the opportunity too. An achievment, of course, but nothing to celebrate excessively.

We need to get behind our team away and most definately at home in the play offs, we can all complain that CCS is not Ninian Park, we can all complain that the atmosphere is not the same but here is the time for us to make it a special place and a special time.

We have no God given right to appear at Wembley, we will have to work hard to get there and the players will hopefully feel the same. Forest, Leicester, Blackpool/Swansea will believe that they can win the play offs and be planning their trip to Wembley, but let us all concentrate on the semis first and get behind our team.

I know we will take every ticket away regardless who we got but we need to make the home leg the deciding factor, it is down to us the fans to make it our time and then, only then could we talk of Wembley.

i think the swansea game proved that we can get a good atmosphere in ccs, it's up to us to create an intimedating cauldron of noise, the stewards can do their part by backing off and leave people stand :ayatollah:

This is what we look forward too. After the mess we were in a few weeks ago its all a bonus as far as I'm concerned. I'm going to TRY and enjoy it.

Carl, good to meet you yesterday.

I have to say that yesterday my son said to me why are the fans singing Wemberly Wemberly, and I have to agree that whilst we have reached the play offs we have NOT got through those two matches and have NOT reached Wemberly.

Let's not run before we can walk. The last thing we want is the players letting complacement set in, and thinking that we are already there because the fans say so. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
