Can Ridsdale put a spoke in it yet?

Mon Apr 26, 2010 6:29 pm

OK after reading some of the topics, the gist of the messages of some of the messages I have read is that the Malaysians are coming over tomorrow and it is Borley who is the "real" player here. :ayatollah:

Yet it appears that Ridsdale could be holding out for more money or a better deal?

Am I right?

What power has Ridsdale still got? Can he and his "groupies" stall the deal or even block it at this late stage? :(

I've asked this - is he hanging on to see if we make the Prem then say "Whats the fuss about we dont need the Malaysians?"
But theres the issue of the court case. Can he winkle his way out again?
Annis and the rest seem to doubt he can

Get rid of the Monkey (literally) on our back

I think if he did and if the money was available from our friends from the east then he'd be in breach of a fair few laws regarding Directors duties. As I've said before, the so called government has put the country into such a deep financial hole that Mr Tax man will seek out every last penny and possibly send the Riddler to jail. Perhaps someone should sign him up to one of those dvd rental sites and send a few copies of Scum to his abode, that'll cheer him up no end.

No he cannot. As Chairman he is in fact an elected representative of the club and not
the major shareholder.

He can ONLY put the Clubs case forward, not his own agenda. He is NOT Cardiff City.

I have my doubts he'll be at the hearing at all.

Even if he IS still Chairman, it doesnt mean the Club have got to send him in to put forward
Cardiff City's case. Technically, the board could send one of the girls from the ticket office in,
providing they know all the facts and have the boards backing
